Thanks
CAYA Tryout Familes,
First of all thank you for registering your child to participate in the CAYA tryouts. As was evident on the fields our numbers were terrific. As a staff we certainly have some difficult decisons to make. Below are some reminders about what you may expect over the coming days. As we stated at the parent meetings conducted during the tryouts this can be a stressful time for parents, players and coaches alike. I can't stress the importance of being patient during the coming days as we work through the process.
Selection Process
CAYA will take this very seriously and will do all we can to select the players we feel should be in the program. Players selected to the program will have their tryout number posted on the CAYA Blog on Thursday May 15th. The Blog address is www.caslcaya.blogspot.com. In order to receive email notifications when the blog has been updated please enter your email address towards the top right hand corner of the blog. Once you subscribe you will receive an email whenever the blog gets updated. You can of course visit the blog anytime you would like by entering the above address. The blog is the primary mechanism we use to communicate with CAYA Families during the course of the year.
Once tryout numbers are posted each team coach/program director will be responsible for calling the players on his/her team. This phone call is only for each family to confirm acceptance of a spot in our CAYA Program. Coaches do not have the time to answer other questions at this time. We ask that your discuss this as a family before you receive the phone call. Please be considerate as many phone calls need to be made. Our goal is to have made phone calls within 48hrs of the tryout numbers being posted on the blog.
We will only post the numbers of players being offered a spot in the CAYA Program. If your child's number is not listed on the blog then unfortunately they have not been offered a spot in our CAYA Program for the 2013-2014 season. We will post some information on the blog about upcoming challenge tryouts.
